The Digiteal Goodie

When we met Frédéric Mathot and Vincent Truyens of the ” Graine de Vie” association, we immediately connected. The association fights deforestation by recreating forests in Madagascar (more info). For the Digiteam it was clear, we wanted to help these volunteers in our own way. And that’s how the idea of a goodie sprang up…

We looked for a 100% recycled printable envelope, made in Belgium, and that could contain a few Spruce seeds. This allowed both to plant a tree and to make a donation to the association “Graine de Vie” thanks to the scan2pay QR code.

Digiteal forest

We also decided to celebrate every new user who receives their bills directly in Digiteal, the real alternative to paper bills. How? By making a donation to the “Graine de Vie” association so that a tree can be planted.

Planned launch? January 2020. Thanks to the initiative launched in November 2019 by Alliance Centre BW, Urban forest and Graine de vie, we have already started our “Digiteal forest” by financing the planting of 125 trees (500 m2) in Madagascar. As a symbolic gesture, we have also planted, together with neighbouring companies, a few trees in the “urban forest” located next to our offices.
