To integrate Peppol e-invoicing, simplify compliance with Mercurius, and offer advanced invoice tracking features, Easi partnered with Digiteal, a certified Peppol Access Point and trusted long-term partner.

Challenges

With Digiteal’s help, Adfinity by Easi successfully addressed three key challenges:

1Integrating Peppol e-invoicing, allowing clients to send and receive structured invoices ahead of the 2026 B2B requirements.

2Building direct compatibility with the Mercurius platform, which is required for e-invoicing to public administrations.

3Offering advanced tracking and traceability features, including support for Peppol Invoice Response messages, to improve accounting follow-up and prepare for future EU ViDA standards.

Solution

Working closely with Digiteal, Adfinity deployed a full solution that includes:

Integration
Smooth integration with the Peppol network via the Digiteal API, fully built into the Adfinity interface.
Gateway to Mercurius
A smart gateway to Mercurius, jointly developed with Digiteal, allowing public sector suppliers to stay compliant and operational from their familiar Adfinity interface.
Invoice Response
Support for “Invoice Response” messages, providing real-time invoice status updates and automatic notifications for clients, without repeated manual tasks.

Thanks to this collaboration, Easi has included all the necessary building blocks for compliant, future-ready e-invoicing since 2023.

Results

Native Peppol invoicing in Adfinity

Users send and receive Peppol e-invoices directly from within Adfinity. The Digiteal API manages all Peppol traffic in a fully integrated and invisible way for the end user.

Direct connection to Mercurius

With a gateway built by Digiteal, Adfinity clients handle all their e-invoicing, B2G and B2B, in one single environment. This direct connection to the Mercurius platform makes communication with public authorities easier and guarantees full compliance with BOSA standards.

Enhanced tracking with invoice responses

In Adfinity, clients can see the detailed status of every invoice. They can also automatically generate status updates for their own customers, no emails or calls needed. This saves a lot of time, improves reliability and supports the continuous traceability that will soon be required by European tax authorities.

Increased traceability and security

Every invoice is tracked from sending to payment. The use of the Peppol network and automated backups enhances security against fraud and data loss. The system ensures that invoices are delivered to the right address and that the sender is properly authenticated.
